The energy transition is the word we are hearing more than ever before now. But what does it mean?
The energy transition is changing the source of energy we use, in simple words. There is no proper definition, but we may define it as a “structural shift from one energy source to another as it is better for some reason than the previous one”.
The reason may be different every time the transition takes place. In today’s context, carbon emission is the reason that the talks for a clean energy transition are taking place.
Not just talks, but energy transition is taking place and speeding up year by year. But it’s not the first time! Shifting energy from one source to another is having a long history.
